Posting a Job and Reviewing Resumes
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College hosts a job board service, College Central Network (CCN). CCN is available 24/7 and there is no charge to use the service. Employers register their company then receive a password to access CCN. You can post jobs for only Rowan-Cabarrus students and alumni or you can post to the North Carolina Community College Consortium which allows students from twelve NC Community Colleges to view your job. Consortium participants: Alamance, Fayetteville Tech, Forsyth Tech, Gaston College, Guilford Tech, Johnston, Rowan-Cabarrus, Sandhills, Vance-Granville, Wake Tech, Western Piedmont, and Wilkes.
Visit the CCN Employer Login page to create your account and begin using this service.
Schedule an Employer Visit to Campus
This is an excellent way to connect directly with Rowan-Cabarrus students. From September to early March employers can schedule a time to visit the campuses (North in Salisbury or South in Concord) to showcase your company and to generate student interest. On-campus recruiting is a free service available to employers who are hiring. Important note: Employers requiring a financial investment from an applicant are not permitted to recruit on campus. No solicitations are permitted through on-campus recruiting events.
To discuss availability and schedule a visit, please contact Career and Academic Advising at advising@rccc.edu.
Work-Based Learning
Employers work with Work-Based Learning to arrange for a semester internship. These internships are mutually beneficial to employers and students. Employers gain skilled and semi-skilled assistance and students gain hands-on work experience with a local employer related to their program of study.
Job Fair
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College hosts an annual job fair each year. For more information, please contact a Career Advisor in Career and Academic Advising.
