SALISBURY, N.C. – Seventy Rowan-Cabarrus students were inducted into the Sigma Alpha Pi National Society of Leadership and Success during a ceremony held recently in the College’s Student Center.

“This prestigious organization recognizes students who achieve high academics while completing a variety of leadership requirements to become fully inducted members. These student leaders delve into campus life, giving of themselves and their time outside the classroom,” said Rowan-Cabarrus Director of Student Life and Leadership Barb Meidl. “We strive to instill students with the desire to become lifelong learners while also becoming good citizens.”

The National Honor Society of Leadership and Success is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. With more than 650 chapters across the nation, the Society has well over one million members.
