Between the Lines: Insights from the Real Estate Bulletin
A real estate elective course designed to address some of the most commonly asked questions posed by real estate brokers and to provide insight into many misunderstood positions taken by the Commission on transactional matters. The articles in this book previously appeared in the North Carolina Real Estate Commission’s publication – Real Estate Bulletin (from 2007 to 2017).

Focus of this CE course is on the conduct of REALTORS , the Articles & Standards of Practice as found in the REALTOR Code of Ethics. It also addresses the Professional Standards Enforcement Mechanism allowed for in the NAR “Code of Ethics & Arbitration” manual.

Property Management

*Not for NCREC Credit
This course is designed for people wishing to pursue employment as a rental agent within an apartment complex and licensed real estate agents who wish to update their knowledge of property management rules and regulations. Topics to be covered include working with the lessor, writing a lease, deposits and fees, building design, operation and maintenance, recordkeeping, inspections of the property, handling late payments, evictions, maintaining vacant property, and a review of state laws that affect property management.

Market Analysis

This course is designed for instructional areas related to components of a market analysis: 1) market fundamentals, 2) characteristics and definitions, 3) supply and demand analysis, 4) use of market analysis, 5) test constraints and application of highest and best use, 6) special considerations and 7) case studies.
