About Planning & Capital Projects

The Department of Planning and Capital Projects supports the mission of the College by providing services to plan, build, and manage the space of our world-class educational facilities.

As a department of the College Environment Division, we provide those services for our College customers in the areas of:

• Facility Planning
• Space Management
• Capital Projects Coordination
• Design Services
• Construction Management
• Furniture Management
• Occupational Safety
• sUAS Operations

The department also maintains updated documentation including AutoCad and PDF versions of floor plans, site plans and design guidelines documenting space information. These are readily available by request for use by the College’s divisions and departments.

Requests to modify spaces and create projects should be documented through the internal Facility Modification Request (FMR) process and submitted to the requestor’s respective division’s Space Committee member for review and processing. The College’s Space Committee meets monthly to review project requests and make recommendations to the President’s Cabinet.
