Computer Programming and Development

Nearly all technologies require software. Programmers, developers, and software engineers design and develop many types of software from video games to database systems. This degree provides students with the skills to develop software for a broad range of devices. The courses not only teach students how to write programs, but students will also learn how to test and debug programs and learn how to use integrated development environments which make creating computer programs simpler, fun, and exciting.

Graduates will be able to support the software development needs of businesses in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, finance and software publishing.
