Graduation Fair

To participate in the Commencement Ceremony, please plan to attend one of the Graduation Fairs held in the Student Center at both North and South Campus.  Remember to bring your photo ID.

North Campus :  2024 dates to be determined

South Campus:   2024 dates to be determined

Cap, Gown, & Tassel

Curriculum Graduates participating in the Commencement Ceremony will receive a cap, gown, and tassel at the Graduation Fair. Curriculum Graduates wear a navy-blue cap and gown.

Curriculum Graduates who earned a program grade-point average of 3.5 or above in their diploma or degree program, with all grades “C” or higher, will receive a gold cord when they pick up their cap and gown at one of the Graduation Fairs.  Certificate programs are not eligible for a gold cord.

Early College Graduates should contact their school administration for additional information.

Career and College Promise Graduates should pay for their regalia on the Beacon’s Nest website and then pick it up at a Graduation Fair. You must bring your printed receipt to receive your cap and gown.

Adult High School/High School Equivalency Graduates need to purchase black caps and gowns for the Commencement Ceremony.  Please contact Jay Taylor for more information.

No decorative attachments may be worn on your gown. Students who are members of the recognized honor societies Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, or Sigma Alpha Pi, may wear appropriate pins and stoles.  Please see your organization advisor for information about ordering club regalia.

If you intend to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, but are not in the area or are unable to attend one of the Graduation Fairs, please contact Barb Meidl (barb.meidl@rccc.edu), Director of Student Life and Leadership, to make alternate plans to pick up your graduation regalia.
